Intracoastal Waterway Park

Beginning Monday, January 6, 2025, Intracoastal Waterway Park will be temporarily closed to public traffic. The park closure is due to a natural gas main relocation project which is expected to last until Tuesday, April 1, 2025. Sign boards have been placed at the park entrance to alert the public and will remain throughout the remainder of the project.

This 8.5-acre community river park is a picturesque gateway to Merritt Island. Landscaped with native trees and plants, paved pathways and winding boardwalks along the Indian River feature small picnic shelters and restroom on the south side. The concrete fishing pier features benches making it ideal for viewing evening sunsets.
