Unincorporated Curbside Residential Collection

Brevard County's Unincorporated areas are provided curbside collection of garbage, recycling and yard by Waste Management.

If you live within City or Town limits, please contact the town or city for information about collection services.

Residents of Unincorporated Brevard County have two collections per week.

Garbage is collected twice per week. Occasionally you may have excess garbage that will not fit in your cart. In such cases the waste must be either bagged and placed away from the cart and Waste Management must be contacted for a pickup of the excess, or you can rent or purchase an additional cart from Waste Management, or purchase an additional cart from a third party as long as the cart is compatible with the collection equipment.

Recycling and Yard waste are collected one day each week.

Place garbage and recycle carts; yard waste and yard waste cans within 5 feet of the curb the night before your collection day or before 6:00 a.m. Residential collection begins at 6:00 a.m. and runs through 8:00 p.m.

Place garbage and recycle carts; yard waste and yard waste cans outside of the drive lane (to ensure collection, do not block or obscure path).
