Brevard County utilizes a third-party billing company, Change Healthcare. Customers are asked to contact Change Healthcare utilizing at the number listed on your bill or by calling (866) 277-6146.

Please note Brevard County Fire Rescue staff cannot accept payment over the phone or, on our website. Our administrative offices do not have access to your account but, we are happy to assist if you are having issues that are not being rectified by either your insurance company or Change Healthcare.

Can I pay my bill on the Brevard County website?

No. Unfortunately, Brevard County Fire Rescue does not have the means to accept any payment in person or on our County owned websites. All transactions must be through Change Healthcare

Who is Change Healthcare?

Change Healthcare acquired by Optum Health in 2022, is a subsidiary of United Health Group. In early 2024, Change Healthcare experienced a cyber-attack/ransomware event which resulted in an immediate shutdown of all communications. Systems have been recently restored after rebuilding their entire platform and receiving multiple certifications and attestation.

Unfortunately, Brevard County Fire is still unable to access Change Healthcare’s portals to assist customers. This includes the inability to access, download or review any of the ambulance invoices generated or, update any insurance information.

With this said, Brevard County Fire Rescue is committed to ensuring superior customer service. Please note, while we have allocated dedicated call takers, wait times may be longer than anticipated.
