Fire Prevention: New Construction and Permitting
Brevard County Fire Rescue’s Fire Safety Inspectors conduct plan reviews and inspections during the commercial building permitting process to verify compliance with Florida State Statutes, the Florida Fire Prevention Code, and local ordinances. The following information outlines how to schedule inspections throughout the construction process and provides details on the fee schedule associated with these reviews and inspections.

Site conditions may dictate that additional inspections or types of inspections are required on your project.

If you have questions regarding new construction or permitting contact (321) 637-5676. This line is checked daily in the morning by our new construction team. This means that if you call after 7:00 AM we will not receive your message until the following day.
