Brevard County Mobile Library

For nearly 50 years, the Brevard County Mobile Library has been providing outreach services to residents throughout Brevard County. The original service began as a book mobile and provided books throughout the County starting in 1975. By 1985, the book mobile was permanently stationed behind the Micco Fire Station and served the community until the opening of the South Mainland Public Library. Through a generous donation from the Brevard Library Foundation and the Negroni-Hendricks Family, the service relaunched in 2006 as the Mobile Library and provided books and programs to area schools, early literacy partners, and senior centers until 2018.

With support from the community as well as a Northeast Florida Library Information Network  Innovation Grant, the Mobile Library relaunched in 2022 featuring the "Tech to Go" Program. This program brings STEM and emerging technology programs from the Brevard County Libraries Creative Lab right into our community with the goal of enhancing access to library services and providing technology resources that enrich our community one stop at a time. 

Where Do We Visit

Please note: the Mobile Library requests at least 2 weeks-notice prior to an event. Participation is subject to staffing availability.
