Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Reference Center
A full-text database designed to support continuity experts and information professionals. It covers all aspects of business continuity and disaster recovery, including risk evaluation, emergency preparedness, disaster mitigation, and crisis communications. Available free to patrons through December 31, 2024.
Through a collection of comprehensive full-text content, this database provides detailed, user-friendly “how-to” information covering a variety of do-it-yourself home improvement and repair projects. Areas covered include electrical, maintenance, plumbing, re-modeling, woodworking, tiles, masonry and stonework, and more. Available free to patrons through December 31, 2024.

Libraries Will Close Early on New Year's Eve
All Brevard County Public Libraries will be closed at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, for New Year's Eve. This early closure will effect the evening hours of of the following libraries:
- Catherine Schweinsberg Rood Central Library
- Cocoa Beach Public Library
- Franklin T. DeGroodt Memorial Library
- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Public Library
- Melbourne Beach Public Library
- Satellite Beach Public Library
- South Mainland Public Library
- Suntree/Viera Public Library
- Titusville Public Library
All Brevard County Public Libraries will be closed Wednesday, January 1, 2025 in observation of the New Year's Day holiday. Regular library hours will resume on Thursday, January 2nd.
During this time you will still be able to access your library account online, as well as Overdrive, Libby, Hoopla, and our research databases.
