Brevard County’s Opioid Task Force and Initiatives

In regular session on December 7, 2021, the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution No. 21-167, renewing the Together in Partnership Citizen Advisory Committee, to sustain an effective system to address issues impacting families and at-risk youth within Brevard County.

The County’s Together in Partnership Advisory Committee will utilize the following subcommittees to facilitate the opioid funding process.

The Review Committee is responsible for the Strategies and Approved Uses and for making suggestions on which to address and fund with Opioid Settlement funding through the Request for Proposal (RFP) Process. The second committee which is the

Recommendations Committee is appointed to oversee the RFP process and make recommendations on which agencies are awarded funding.

The Brevard County Opioid Misuse Task Force and Brevard Prevention Coalition worked together to create Brevard County’s Opioid Misuse Abatement Plan. It can be reviewed at the following link:
