Evans Road Closure for Drainage Improvements

In February 2025, Brevard County will begin the Evans Road Drainage Improvement Project, which will require the temporary closure of a portion of Evans Road, south of West Hibiscus Blvd. This essential upgrade is designed to enhance drainage and roadway infrastructure in this high-traffic corridor, improving safety and resilience for the community.

The project will involve replacing the existing dual-pipe culvert crossing with a new dual 9' x 7' concrete box culvert, along with associated roadway and drainage improvements. Construction is anticipated to take approximately five months to complete.
