About
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) received the County’s application for Public Assistance regarding the damages to the Sea Ray Drive Bridge over Sykes Creek sustained during Hurricane Irma. In accordance with FEMA requirements, the County is posting the Final Public Notice. Please note that while the Notice references “repair Sea Ray Bridge by replacing bridge bents 3 and 4”, the County proposes to replace the Sea Ray Drive Bridge with a new Florida I-beam bridge.
Current Status
Bridge replacement is currently in the design phase; this phase is anticipated to be completed by December 31, 2022.
