Brevard Marine Advisory Council
The Brevard County Marine Advisory Council provides advice and guidance to the Board of County Commissioners. The scope of work includes all marine related issues to ensure a well-maintained, safe, healthy and friendly marine environment for the residents and visiting user of our marine resources. As approved by the Board: May 8, 2001 Resolution 01-216
Meetings
Meetings are held quarterly (February/May/August/November), on the third Thursday of the month, at 6:00 PM at the Brevard County Government Center, 2725 Fran Jamieson Way, Building C, 3rd Floor Florida Room C313, Viera, FL. Brevard County Marine Advisory Council Member Listing
The Brevard County Marine Advisory Council was established by Resolution 99-258 on November 9, 1999. Resolution 01-216 adopted on May 8, 2001, amended the previous Resolution to include the Council’s Mission Statement and Scope of Work. There shall be ten members of the Council, with each Commissioner appointing two members. Members’ terms shall expire after one year, or with the term of the appointing Commissioner, whichever comes first. A quorum is equal to a majority of members.
