Brevard County Septic to Sewer Projects Design Progress

3/12/2025 Update - Septic to sewer projects have to go through a process of engineering design in order to receive permits for construction. Project designs are typically marked at milestones of 30%, 75%, and 100%. Design underway means they are working toward that milestone. Once the milestone is reached, it will be reviewed. If the review approves the design, it will be designated as complete. Current progress for septic to sewer projects is:

• Design complete and all permits received for South Banana B, Merritt Island C & F, and South Beaches O & P
• 75% design in review for Cocoa Zone C, Sharpes Zone B, South Central Zone D, and North Merritt Island Zone E
• 75% design underway for Sykes Creek Zones R
• 30% design in review for Sharpes Zone A
• 30% design underway for Micco Zone B, Merritt Island Zone G, and South Central Zone A
