Ray Bullard Stormwater Management Area
The contract for the Ray Bullard Stormwater Management Area has been executed. A new stormwater pond will be constructed in place of a former lined reclaimed water pond that is no longer in use at the Ray Bullard Water Reclamation Facility in West Melbourne. This pond will treat water from 450 acres upstream before it enters the the C10 and C11 canals leading to the Indian River Lagoon. The project will reduce an estimated 1,317 pounds of nitrogen and 400 pounds of phosphorus entering the lagoon each year.
