Brevard County Staff Supports Community

Each year, Brevard County Government sponsors a campaign to support United Way of Brevard.

This year’s campaign goal was to raise $45,000 for the agencies and programs United Way of Brevard partners with, like Aging Matters in Brevard, the Brevard Alzheimer’s Foundation, Early Learning Coalition, the Salvation Army Domestic Violence Shelter, and the Brevard Chapter of the Boys and Girls Clubs.

With contributions from our generous employees, the 2023 United Way of Brevard campaign was able to exceed our goal and raise over $49,600 for our community through raffles, events, and payroll deductions.

However, the generosity of our staff isn’t limited to United Way of Brevard. In December, members of the Brevard County Board of Commissioners and County staff partnered with Aging Solutions, in their Elves for Elders program. The County received wish lists for over 70 seniors who are wards of the state. Staff members came together to support these members of our community in a big way with donations of clothing, bedding, toiletries, and entertainments items.
