Brevard County Fire Rescue Hosting Annual Awards Ceremony on April 9

ROCKLEDGE, FL. -- Brevard County Fire Rescue will hold their Annual Awards Ceremony at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9 at the Space Coast Health Foundation, Center for Collaboration located at 1100 Rockledge Blvd., Rockledge. The event is expected to last approximately two hours. Award presentations begin at 6:30 p.m.

Award Recipients include nominations received for the 2024 calendar year events, in the following categories:

• Unit Citation
• Commendable Service
• Life Saving Bar
• Special Recognition

Annual Awards will also be presented to the following:

• Volunteer of the Year 
• Civilian of the Year
• Ocean Rescue Lifeguard of the Year
• Inspector of the Year
• Recruit of the Year 
• Paramedic of the Year
• Firefighter of the Year
• Instructor of the Year
• Company Officer of the Year 
• Chief Officer of the Year 
• Tim Mills Commemorative Award
