BREVARD COUNTY, FL. -- Brevard County Planning and Development held a Public Workshop this week (Aug. 28, 2024) at the South Beach Community Center on Melbourne Beach for a community discussion of the recent designation of the Brevard Barrier Island Area (South Beaches) as an Area of Critical State Concern (ACSC). The workshop was an opportunity for public input regarding implementation of the plan by the County.
