Brevard County Fire Rescue Sponsorship Signing Day-May 23
VIERA, FL. -- Brevard County Fire Rescue will be holding the third annual Brevard County Fire Rescue (BCFR) Firefighter Sponsorship Signing Day.
The event will take place at 3 p.m. on May 23 at Station 48, located at 5550 Porada Dr. in Viera. We are inviting 45 sponsorship recipients to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) officially securing their award of a sponsorship from BCFR.
Through the sponsorship, the candidates will attend Eastern Florida State College for Emergency Medical Technician and/or Fire Academy training with the intent of beginning employment with BCFR as a Firefighter/EMT. Since the program’s inception in 2021, BCFR has hired 35 sponsorship recipients with an additional 24 recipients in our current hiring process.
