MERRITT ISLAND, FL. -- Brevard County Parks and Recreation announces their holiday parade for Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 10 a.m.
Brevard County Sheriff’s Office will close Courtenay Parkway (SR-3) from Grove Boulevard to Merritt Avenue and Merritt Avenue, east to Plumosa Avenue at 9:30 a.m. until approximately 12 p.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2021 for the Merritt Island Holiday Parade. The traffic will be re-routed to Tropical Trail, SR-520 and SR-528. Motorists wishing to drive through the area are cautioned to allow extra time. The parade theme this year is “Holiday Movies”.
Parties interested in participating in the parade need to fill out the Parade Application. Entry forms and payments need to be returned to the Brevard County Parks & Recreation, Central Area Parks Operations office by 4 p.m. on Monday, November 29, 2021. We are no longer able to accept late registrations.
