North Merritt Island Dependent Special District Board Meeting - June 8, 2023

As established by Ordinance 98-64, the North Merritt Island (NMI) Dependent Special District Board is an elected seven member advisory board of the Dependent Special District. The NMI Board serves as the recommending body for the Board of County Commissioners in lieu of the Planning and Zoning Board for requests within the Dependent Special District Area of North Merritt Island that do not increase the residential density, and for Conditional Use Permits.

The North Merritt Island Dependent Special District is defined by that area lying North of the Barge Canal and South of the NASA Causeway East.
