Capital Facilities Grant
The Brevard County Tourist Development Council (TDC) is pleased to offer Capital Facilities Grants for capital projects located within Brevard County. These grants serve to establish new or refurbish existing facilities. They can also serve infrastructures that are publicly owned and operated or owned and operated by not-for-profit organizations. The facilities shall be open to the public for recreational activities, cultural events and performances that host events in Brevard County. The primary goal and purpose of the grants are to bring substantial numbers of tourists/visitors to the County, thereby promoting overnight hotel stays within the County. The grants are administered by the Capital Facilities Committee of the Tourist Development Council.
Capital projects, for the purposes of this grant program, are defined as projects that are new construction, expansion, renovation, or a replacement project for an existing facility or facilities. The project must have a total cost of at least $250,000 over the life of the project and a useful life of at least 10 years. Reimbursement grants starting at $250,000 are available to support capital facilities projects that benefit Florida’s Space Coast.
The FY 23-24 TDC Capital Facilities grant application period opened on August 9, 2023 and will close on August 28, 2023 at 5pm.
