Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Brevard County Libraries!

The Brevard County Public Libraries are excited to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month, September 15, 2022 to October 15, 2022 with you, and are offering programs for you and your family at all of our library locations!

National Hispanic Heritage Month, is a time to celebrate the achievements, histories, traditions and cultural diversity of Hispanic/Latino/Latinx Americans whose heritage is rooted in 20 Latin American countries and territories: Spain, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Cuba, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic. This year’s theme: Unidos: Inclusivity for a Stronger Nation is all about building stronger communities through inclusion, and welcoming new and forgotten voices.

Challenge yourself and expand your reading horizons! National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated each year from Sep. 15 to Oct. 15. This year, the theme is “Unidos: Inclusivity for a Stronger Nation.” Honor diverse voices, unique perspectives, and rich cultural traditions through activities and book recommendations.
