Youth Services

Welcome to the Brevard County Public Library Youth Services Department

Winter Begins at Your Library!

This season, join us at your local library for programs geared to different ages, but all celebrating the wonder that is winter!

For kids five years old and under, we will be hosting a Winter Wonderland themed story time. All school aged children are welcome to join our program where we ask the perennial question, “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” and make our own snow! Looking for something a little STEAMier? Your middle school-aged children can learn how to DIY their own snowball launcher.

All of our Winter Begins programs are free to attend. Call your library for more information, and check our flyer or online calendar for event dates and times.

From story time to STEM programs, your Brevard County Libraries offer a wide variety of activities and resources to support early literacy and lifelong learning. Visit our event calendar to find events at your nearest branch, our catalog to search for a favorite new read, and our YouTube channel for virtual programs. Be sure to visit all of our branches to explore their unique offerings including STEM and activity kits (at participating locations).
