Brevard Linear Park
Brevard Linear Park was approved by the voters in the 2000 South Brevard Recreation Special District Bond Referendum. The 3.1-mile trail is comprised of both paved walkway and elevated boardwalk, perfect for a leisurely stroll or bicycling.
Benches are found frequently throughout the park to allow visitors to stop for a rest and take in the view of natural Florida habitats, such as wetlands and oak hammocks. Also along the trail are informational signs about local flora and fauna, and historical information regarding the extinct creatures that used to be native to the area.
Parking is available at the Main trailhead, located at the southernmost end of Wildlife Way, Melbourne. There is no parking at the Turtle Mound or Pineda Causeway trailheads.
