Flooding Clean-Up Kit Distribution at Select Brevard County Libraries
BREVARD COUNTY, FL. -- Brevard County is distributing flood clean-up kits provided by The Salvation Army to distribute to Brevard County residents impacted by recent flooding.
Kits will be available starting Thursday, Oct. 30, at Brevard County libraries in the most-impacted areas, while supplies last. Kits will be distributed by library staff during regular operating hours:
• Mims/Scottsmoor Public Library, 3615 Lionel Road, Mims. (closed Sundays)
• Titusville Public Library, 2121 S Hopkins Avenue, Titusville.)
• Port St. John Public Library, 6500 Carole Avenue, Cocoa.
• Merritt Island Public Library, 1195 N Courtney Parkway, Merritt Island. (closed Sundays
The flood clean-up kits are designed to clean and disinfect homes following hurricanes or floods. Kits include: 1 5-gallon bucket, 14” broom, 14” squeegee, mop head, brushes, sponge, work gloves, rubber gloves, mask, heavy duty garbage bags, and liquid cleaner.
