Learn the Buzz About Beekeeping! Beekeeping Class on October 30



BREVARD COUNTY, FL. –Interested in learning how to keep bees and harvest your own honey? Join the Beginning Beekeeping class at the UF/IFAS Extension Brevard County Office on Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This full-day workshop will introduce participants to the fascinating world of honeybees and the essentials of beekeeping. Topics include:

  • Honeybee biology, health, and behavior
  • Beekeeping equipment and hive structure
  • Start-up costs and what to expect
  • Beekeeping rules and regulations
  • Live hive demonstration

Participants will gain the foundational knowledge to begin their beekeeping journey — plus, lunch is provided!
