Boil Water Notice Rescinded for Neighborhoods in Mims

BREVARD COUNTY, FL. --  A precautionary boil water notice issued Tuesday, Sept. 9, has been rescinded for customers of the Mims water service area living in these locations:

Blue Jay Place
Sugarberry Lane
Nottingham Apartment Complex
London Town Road
Sherwood Forest Drive
Kings Cross Street
Ben Hogan Way
Arnold Palrmer Drive
King Richard Drive
Bedford Drive
Chester Court
Squires Drive
Lance Court
Archer Court
Adale Court 

If you do not live in the locations listed, you were not affected by the boil water notice.

The precautionary boil water notice stemmed from a water main break that occurred at 2500 N. Carpenter Road. The repair has been completed and water service has been restored to all residents. The boil water notice was rescinded following satisfactory completion of a bacteriological survey showing that the water is safe to drink.
