Water Main Break in Barefoot Bay Water Service Area
BAREFOOT BAY, FL. -- A water main break has occurred near the Snug Harbor neighborhood of the Barefoot Bay service area. Repairs are currently underway.
When the repairs have been completed and water is restored, residents of the Snug Harbor neighborhood will be under a precautionary boil water notice until the bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.
We advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.
This "precautionary boil water notice" will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.
