BAREFOOT BAY, FL. -- A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for the Snug Harbor neighborhood of the Barefoot Bay service area.

Residents of Barefoot Bay living on Agawam Rd., Algonquin Pl., Bannock St., Barefoot Blvd. (400-750), Bison St., Blackhawk Rd., Boxelder Rd., Buckhorn Pl., Cedar Bark Rd., Chasta Rd., Dracena Dr., Draco Dr., Eagle Dr., Falcon Dr., Fox Hunter Cir., Great Bear Lake Dr., Hammerstone Ct., Hammock Pl., Hawk Dr., US Hwy 1 (7656, 7670, 7690, 7660, 7680, 7484,7640, 7650), Kyak Ct., Lantania Dr., Longhorn Ave., Montauk Ave., Niantic Ave., Osprey Dr., Plover Dr., Raven Dr., Silverthorn Ct., and Snug Harbor Lakes Pl.

A precautionary boil water notice has been issued following repairs to the water main break at 7685 Fox Hunter Cir.

We advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled.  A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient.  As an alternative, bottled water may be used.

This "precautionary boil water notice" will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.

If you have any questions you may contact Brevard County Utility Services Department at 321-633-2091 x58374.
