Precautionary Boil Water Notice Issued in Mims Area
MIMS, FL. -- A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for residents of the Mims water service area near Hwy 46 and Carpenter Rd.
The repair has been completed and water service should be restored to all residents on Scrub Jay Ct, Sparrow Hawk Tr., Fawn Lake Rd, Egret Ct, Green Turtle Cove, Pheasant Tr., Tims Ln, Amy Wy, James Ln, Canvasback Dr, Night Heron Dr, Kingfisher Wy, Bob White Tr, Pintail Ct, Blue Teal Ct, Tammy Dr, Lee Rd, Cambridge Dr, Estrada Ln, Bar-C, Seasons in the Sun, Tropical Fiels Wy, Southern Breeze Ct., Wildwood Dr, Grovewood Dr, Doogwood Rd, Rowland Ct, Bradford Ct, Kingwood Dr. in the Mims water service area.
As a precaution, we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.
This "precautionary boil water notice" will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink. You will receive another notification at that time.
