BREVARD COUNTY, FL. --South Courtenay Parkway on Merritt Island has reopened to traffic in both directions following an emergency repair that required a temporary closure between Cone Road and Orchid Lane.

The roadway was closed on Thursday, April 10, for emergency repairs to a broken sewer line and related road repairs. Although the repairs were initially expected to be completed over the weekend, crews found that additional work was required, resulting in an extended closure. During this time, motorists were advised to use alternate routes.
