Temporary Closures to the Florida East Central Regional Rail Trail

BREVARD COUNTY, FL. -- Portions of the Florida East Central Regional Rail Trail within Brevard County will be closed temporarily due to improvements and maintenance. These closures include:

• On Wednesday, February 19, the Florida East Central Regional Rail Trail will be closed in the section north of Aurantia Road in Mims for maintenance. The closure will be for one day only, and while the trail will be closed, there will be room for the public to safely pass around the work site.
• The Florida East Central Regional Rail Trail will intermittently be closed in half-mile sections beginning on Monday, February 24, for tree-trimming, mulching and additional improvements. These closures are expected to continue for five weeks, and the path will be fully closed where work is in progress. The closures will begin at LaGrange Road in Titusville and end at the Aurantia Road Trailhead in Mims.
