Milton Prompts Cancellation of Tuesday's Brevard County Commission Meeting
BREVARD COUNTY, FL. – Threats from Hurricane Milton have prompted cancelation of Brevard County’s Board of County Commissioner’s meeting, which was scheduled for 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, at the Brevard County Government Center.
The latest forecast for Milton, expected to be a hurricane as it crosses Central Florida and Brevard County mid-week, anticipates chances for potential flooding, with 6-8 inches of rain through Thursday, with some areas getting as much as 10 inches-plus of cumulative rainfall, along with hurricane-force winds.
