Brevard County Seeks Crossing Guards

BREVARD COUNTY, FL. -- As we look forward to a new Brevard Public Schools school year, Brevard County's Public Safety group is hosting three crossing guard hiring events to ensure the safety of some of our most vulnerable residents.

If you're interested in a two hour time commitment that gives back to your community in a rewarding way, come out to one of our Crossing Guard Hiring events:

• July 15-Satellite Beach Library from 10 am to 1 pm
• July 16-Suntree Library from 11 am to 1 pm
• July 17-Merritt Island Library from 10 am to 1 pm
  

These permanent part-time positions include:

• Two hour weekday commitment (mornings & afternoons)
• Weekends, holidays and summers off
  
• $15/hour
• Pension
• Paid holidays
• Annual and sick leave
