Cardiac Arrest Recognition Ceremony Feb. 23

BREVARD COUNTY, FL. -- Brevard County Fire Rescue will host a Cardiac Arrest Recognition Ceremony at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 23, to honor Brevard County Fire Rescue and Brevard County Sherriff’s personnel.

On July 10, 2022, Brevard County Fire Rescue (BCFR) and Brevard County Sherriff’s Office (BCSO) units responded to a medical emergency involving a young child, who went into Cardiac Arrest after being rescued from the family’s swimming pool. At the ceremony, the young survivor will be reunited with the first responders who saved his life. 

The ceremony will take place at Brevard County Fire Rescue Station 21, located at 4940 US Highway 1, Mims, FL 32754
