BREVARD COUNTY, FL -- The Disaster Recovery Center located at 3695 Lake Dr. in Cocoa will permanently close at 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22.
The Disaster Recover Center (DRC), located at the UF/IFAS Extension Service, has been operating and serving residents since Dec. 18. Residents still in need of assistance from the impacts of Hurricane Nicole can register in the following ways:
• Online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov
• Download the FEMA mobile app
• Call the FEMA helpline at 800-621-3362 (help is available in multiple languages and phone lines are open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week)
Registration for Hurricane Nicole assistance will be open through Feb. 13.
